Dr. Charles R. Hankla is a Political Science Professor at Georgia State University and Director of the International Center for Public Policy. His research focuses on fiscal decentralization, budgeting, and trade policy, and he leads World Bank projects in Mozambique and Cameroon. He has published widely, including two books and articles in top journals, and is Co-PI on an NSF-funded study in India. A former visiting scholar at Sciences Po Lille, he’s also an award-winning mentor and a frequent media commentator on global economic politics.
